Witbitz adds a live AI agent to a call that runs on Kibitz. This policy explains what data the Witbitz service handles. For the privacy of the call itself — how rooms, peer-to-peer media, and end-to-end encryption work — see the Kibitz security and manual.
There is no registration and no sign-up. A coupon code (or a purchase license key that redeems into one) is both your login and your prepaid wallet; alternatively you bring your own API keys. We do not collect your name, email, or a password to use the agent.
Live call audio and video are not recorded. The session memory above does hold a transcript-like record of the conversation so the agent has continuity within a room — encrypted at rest, room-scoped, sealed to your room's key so we cannot read it, and auto-deleted after 7 days. (Our server logs hold only operational diagnostics — timings, counts, errors — never call content, and they auto-expire within days.) A clearly-labelled recorded session for support/QA is announced by the agent at the start, so joining one is your consent.
If you bring your own OpenAI and ElevenLabs keys, they are never logged or stored. They are passed only as ephemeral environment for that single agent session and discarded when it ends — the same path the operator-managed keys use.
The agent is a participant in your call. To do its job it perceives the call audio, and that audio is sent to OpenAI (to understand speech) and ElevenLabs (to generate the voice, and music for the song agent). That processing is governed by those providers' own policies:
The agent is disclosed to everyone on the call: before anyone joins, Kibitz shows an AI-assisted-call notice and the agent's specific disclosure. Joining the call is consent to the agent's presence and to that audio processing.
The conversation between the people on the call is end-to-end encrypted between their browsers (that's Kibitz, peer-to-peer). Witbitz operates the agent that joins the room; it does not have access to the call beyond what the agent participant perceives (the audio described above).
The Witbitz website uses your browser's local/session storage to remember things like a coupon code you entered (or an operator token) — kept on your device, for your convenience. We use no advertising trackers and do not sell your data. If you install Witbitz as an app, a service worker caches the site files so it works offline; it does not transmit your data.
The site and control plane run on cloud infrastructure (a static site on a CDN; the agent runs as a short-lived cloud task; credit and session records in a managed database). Standard server logs may be produced by these providers for operations and security.
Witbitz is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone under the age required by their local law to consent to this kind of processing.
